Here's my little tribute to the brother that I never had...
Thomas was a wonderfull person and he will be sadly missed... He's in my heart as long as I live...

I have sent one thousand EUR to Sabine, she will receive it in 2 or 3 days.
We will close the donation at the end of the week, and i will send her the remaining next week.

Hi alls, i recently had learned about Thomas 's passing away. i met Thomas via internet in 2004 while i was surfing bobdylan.de From this time on, we started to exchange emails , mails, postcards, pictures... i remember i always said to him why he used to write so few lines while i used to write such a long texts. He mantained me informed about Bobs tour which he used to follow as a soldier while here, in Lima Peru i still were dreaming the day i could have the chance to see Bob live. I did it on march 15 2008 Buenos Aires, and from this time on Thomas and me didnt write. Last week remember this, i wrote some lines asking about news.. but never would answer me....
Please Marc, send me his sister`s email to send my condolences. Greetings

I don't know exactly how much, but she needs all what we bring.
The last news i from her via Mark were not very joyful.
On Carla's blog, there's another picture of Thomas in Rotterdam 2005, with a young fan from Netherland, Artur from Poland, and me on the very right.

Perhaps if we could have some idea of what is needed - I don't think that was ever addressed. I know it's a sensitive subject, but it's hard to reach a goal when there isn't one.
Also an update on the repatriation situation if possible. I donated a second time when I found out she may not be able to bring him home.
€1660 is currently around $2586, if that helps anyone on this side of the pond decide whether to donate or donate more. Not much for a funeral, let alone the other expenses.
I think we did pretty good, and I hope some people with (much) deeper pockets than we can find it in their hearts to give too.

There is no goal. The idea was only to help her as much as we can, concretely.
I am not in contact with her, because i don't speak german. Mark will keep us informed when he receives news. The only thing i know is that the rapatriation would cost more than 10 000 EUR and i guess she has given up this idea. But she also has to get through a lot of other expenses and each help is very welcome.
