Here are the last news:
Sabine got a letter from the italian authorities which says that Thomas won´t be buried in the next four weeks cause the circumstances of his death are still unclear..
And she has received a call from Thyssen Krupp. The 'charity' of the firm can bring her a little money, but not more than 100 EUR.
Concerning the money, i guess she does whith what she gets..

Well done for all your efforts.
Although I know no one on here can do anymore, a similar set of circumstances has happen to a young lad from my area (he fell off a balcony abroad and his parents need help to bring his body home). The local pubs and community have organised pub quizes, raffles (prizes donated by local businesses) sponsored walks etc. which, along with donations, will probably raise enough money.
We have had this type of fund raising many times before, for all kinds of situations and the goal is usually obtained, we have one young girl who is having treatment in America and there has been enough money raised by donations and fund raising. Our local newspapers carries the stories etc.
I just wonder if the local newpapers in Thomas' home town have published the story ? There may still be enough time to bring him home.
Anyway it is just a thought, well done again.

I don't think the local papers have published the story. They were in contact with Sabine, and promissed to help her to find informations..
There has been many difficulties in that story:: It concerns two different countries, with different languages and different laws; we didn't know that the amount of money needed was that high; Sabine's lawyer gave her bad advice and wrong informations; and then we couldn't imagine we would have so much time. (10 weeks after his death, he is still not burried)
Another thing is that we didn't want to act and decide in her place, but only to help her as much as we could.
She is very ill, and this story is a real torture for her.. So when she said «we have to stop to try to find a solution », we stopped.
Now, she wants to know when and where he will be burried, and how and why he died.

Sabine sent me a E-Mail in which she confirmed that she reseived the rest of the money all of us donated.
Eigentlich müßte ich der glücklichste Mensch sein, denn ich hatte die Ehre mit den liebsten Menschen der Welt mailen zu dürfen.

Well, as much I feel when we have contact I think she starts slowly
to gettin´ all over this terrible situation and finally see
light on the horizon. That´s great.
She can laugh when she remembers by funny situations which happened
to her brother or Thomas and her both.
I wanna thank you all for help in any ways.
The most part of it have had Cath who worked her heart out to
bring Thomas´ home. Sadly it wasn´t possible but I think
this whole thing brought all of us together much tighter than anything else so far...

Thanks again to everybody involved.
I saw a picture of Thomas in a dream last night. He was on a tour, he was laughing and he was with other fans. That's how we will remember him.

Some news from Italy:
Michele called the police official today. With the info we could provide they found the car, the Carabinieri closed the detection, now they are waiting for the final ending by proocura, institutional organ here.
He said he hopes they will finally close it in about 10 days.

Michele has just called the police.
The case is still not closed.
The policeman said they have to interrogate the man who drove the van on the 3rd of october.
He thinks everything will be closed on that day, and he asked Michele to call back on the 7th of october to get news.
So we still have a few days to wait.
