Honey Baby, that's my favourite version as well.. even though i love the chorus melody on the biograph version.. i have three versions of the song, but i somehow have the feeling that there are more.. am i missing out? i have the one that starts "she was from Haiti, fair brown and intense", the "she was well rehearsed, fair brown and blonde" and obviously "she was the rose of sharon".. do you have any others?

yes, Laura, i love caribbean wind. my favorite version is the Oct 1980 version recorded at Rundown Studios in Santa Monica....i too have been known to drive people crazy listening to it in a neverending loop! the driving beat and great lines in that song.
