I made my picks a week ago so I wouldn't forget.Looks to me like it could come down to a lucky joker pick this time out. Maybe Bob will surprise us all but I doubt it. I just acquired a 3Cd soundboard set of the Slane 1984 show, haven't had a chance to listen to it yet but the show was apparently fantastic so I'm looking forward to it. |

Hi Jolene, I made my picks along with Crow a while ago and GT is also on board,we're just sittin here on the bus waiting for our driver to take us on another road trip with Bob and his band. Just a quick rant to follow up on my message board rant a few weeks ago. Many years ago I lived and worked in Oxford, a beautiful university city with a fantastic and very intimate theatre where I saw some fantastic shows. I sat in row 5 when Joan Baez played there...she was wonderful you could almost reach out and shake her hand,I'm unsure exactly how many seats there are but it couldn't be more the 1000. When I read that Bob was adding The New Theatre Oxford to this tour I thought I might just be lucky enough to get a ticket as I still keep in touch with an old friend who works at the theatre.No such luck .... tickets went onsale and sold out within 10mins but they're popping up for sale online at £1000 plus, who in their right mind would pay that it's just so infuriating and sickening to me that greed will stop me and a lot of other Dylan fans from seeing him play live again on this tour. I cant justify paying that price so sadly I wont be going to any of the UK shows. |
