And, I tried to ship B6 the Golden Bob a while ago but hit an impasse when the shipping agent repeatedly asked about the value and I repeatedly answered ?it?s priceless.? I'm in too .... just got back from the Republic of Ireland visiting my 94yr old Uncle Danny There has to be something in the Donegal air that keeps him young He still does some work on the farm and even goes to the supermarket on his big red tractor, it's great to see unless you get stuck behind him on the wee country roads lol God bless you Uncle Danny and long may your tractor run |

I was thinking which lost Dylan treasure would I like to see as the next volume of the Offical Bootleg series? I think I'd like to hear the lost album Bob made with David Bromberg in the early '90s. I have 4 tracks from the sessions and I love it dearly. I know a lot of people disagree with bootleg recordings,including his Bobness but I think Bob is more annoyed at the lost earnings he would make rather than the quality of the recordings that exist. I have several hundreds of shows that I've collected over the years,and most are of exceptional sound quality, just my opinion but anyone looking for great Dylan boots should start with the Crystal Cat releases most of which are of fantastic quality (although they're not cheap to buy) Anyway ... I hope I haven't offended any of my wonderful team-mates with my bootleg obsession and if GT is really Bob in disguise maybe he'll authorise the Bromberg Sessions for release .... if you havent heard any of it yet go on YouTube and look for Dylans Catskill Serenade .... excellent. |
