Howdy Folks,
There was severe attack on the site over the past week. We have fixed the issues that occurred, but we are in the process of performing an in-depth security scan over all files to make sure this doesn't happen again. Because of this, you will see the site appear online and offline at various times while I work to perform this security audit.
Generally speaking, don't use the site too much if you see it pop online - it will only stay online temporarily. We want to get all this worked out before the next tour.
WE ARE NOT DROPPING THE SITE. IT WILL BE BACK ONLINE ONCE EVERYTHING IS FIXED CORRECTLY.
We are also working on more clearly delegating certain roles to make the pool run smoother, and we are also looking into going back to our old plan of converting the site to a new platform. The problem is that it's really hard to transfer the message boards and user accounts accurately, so we're going to figure out what will work best. It will take some time. For now, though - we are just trying to fix the security problems.
Sorry for the drop offline. We will get it back online when everything is fixed and locked down again.
