Love the vocal and what sounds like an accordion. no keyboard riff takes some getting used to. I can see why he dropped that extra stanza. I like the dirt road blues snippet as well. Time out of mind is number 5 on my favorite bob albums, but I think I am looking forward to this more than anything recent other than more blood and rough and rowdy ways

Agree about that stanza - had to go. I've been reading the recent interviews with Mark Howard about engineering the album and it sounds like there could be a lot of gems that we are totally unaware of. Like you, this is the bootleg series I'm looking forward to more than most.

(I also find it interesting quite how bad Bob's relationship with Lanois seems to have been from the things that Howard says - refusing to talk to him, cutting guitar parts just because Lanois played them...)
