i must say that i am flattered already to have attained the status of "Senior Boarder" after being here for only two days.
wow.
you guys are fairly liberal with the accolades, i see.
i had over 17,000 posts at the old dylanpool and no one ever bestowed any titles upon me.
none.
no titles, no medals, no certificates of achievement.
nuthin'.
so that's one point in favor of the NEP.

and, if you're counting, Charlie Q, here's another point in favor of the NEP.
i tend to edit my own posts with alarming frequency.
i like that the notation that a post has been edited is subtle and understated rather than glaringly prominent as it was at the old pool.
at the old pool, i used to get comments like "after 4 edits, that's the best you could come up with?"

Yes. I remember you were quite the editor of your posts. In fact, over time, I had a hard time finding a post of yours that you did not edit.
