See you soon George RECELI 4 Years, 6 Months ago
He's not my fav drummer of the NET but I liked him anyway and I was already missing him hearing something from Irvine from youtube a couple hours ago, though I liked what Matt Chamberlain was doing on drums.

I hope this was his choice, to take a break, and that his replacing is not due to health issues or problems with Bob, but probably we will never know.

One thought may have been comfortable for George in all this: that Bill Pagel would stop misspelling his surname after 17 years of bad writing. It's Receli and not Recile, but billp either didn't pay much attention to it along the 17 years George has been Bob's drummer or he had a secret source and even poor George isn't aware of, stating that his surname is another. But then, for Irvine setlist's, Pagel wrote again his surname. Misspelled.

Just joking.

See you soon George, you are our drummer. And don't worry: we know it's RECELI.

Drummers are ultimately replaceable. Levon Helm and Phil Collins excepted.

I will miss george...what he brought to the band was something id never felt previously. I too hope that it is just amicable or even temporary...but im willing to appreciate what Matt brings.

I never forgave him for adding a horrible drum part to the gorgeous sugar baby arrangement of 2001. and within a year of him joining, the acoustic sets were all but eliminated.

I doubt he (or any other band member, Tony included) ever had decision power on the setlist, apart from some humble suggestion here and there, over the years, let alone the presence of acoustic sets.

And about Sugar Baby, after all these years you may finally absolve him... after all I'm sure he's done something useful to get your pardon in the meanwhile
