Simple Twist Of Fate 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I know that I am in the minority but I have never cared for "Simple Twist of Fate" in concert. I try to get into it but after the first verse or so, my mind starts
wandering and I notice that my foot is asleep or I have a paper cut on my thumb. I know a lot of people enjoy it but it never did anything for me. Any thoughts?

You may not be in the minority. I quite enjoy the most recent incarnation, particularly Christchurch and week leading up to it. Nice harp runs too. Other "Fates" of note for me. 8/13/97 and some other 97's with Bucky who did great stuff Pedal wise. 10/19/88. The punkish jaunts. 10/30/91 drunken meandering that works in a disheveled character kind of way. 5/27/95 Monterey ain't shabby. Tops is probably John Hammond Tribute for me.

Not a shock that Simple Twist's rogue appearance on the Joker list changes everything on night 1, but annoying nonetheless

Yeah, kicking myself for missing that. I guess I caught Summer Days a few games ago and got lucky. I really thought I'd read the Joker list carefully this time, but nope.

Here's the Hammond Tribute, starting at about 15:40.
