odds of bob concerts in 2021 3 Years, 3 Months ago
|

only rumor of a concert this year was pre-shutdown. early in 2020, an italian concert was discussed for the summer, but the promoter said it was moved to 2021. it could line up this way
summer '21-europe
fall '21-n. america
spring '22-japan/australia
summer '22-n.america
fall '22-europe
however, i think the chances of a summer tour are less than 25%. would europe slide to spring '22 and japan/australia to summer '22? could a u.s. tour in the summer take place? it seems like it takes less planning than a european tour...also less notice.
what chance of having bob live do you think we have this year?

Sadly I have a bad feeling about this... (and I live in the place he'd probably be safest to come and play.)

He should definitely come to New Zealand and do a six month tour.
Cheers.

I am keeping an eye on some other acts that are starting to do some dates. Willie has a show next month in Milwaukee and brown Co. here in indiana and wilco has a bunch of dates in Europe and in outdoor amphitheaters in the U.S. still holding out hope for later this year

Well, if he's coming to NZ for a six-month tour, I'm coming too!
Sounds perfect! Of course, won't happen but.....

Bob can play the few large stadiums that we have in New Zealand and then do a 5 month residency at our local small theatre.
I’ll even invite him to dinner at my house and buy him a beer at our local pub.
Stay safe everybody.
Cheers.
